PHYSICS XII TIPS

Physics is the branch of science which deals with the study of nature and its associated features.
The XII class syllabus of physics is very easy you need not to worry about the marks just cool down and study in relaxed mood and of course you studying you must have a good command over maths.

You don’t have to be a Physicist to score marks in Physics. A good strategy can however help you score cool marks even you have hated this subject the most. Here is a small analysis just to help you understand the fact that it is easy to score in physics.
Based on the question pattern of 2011 and 2012, the number and marks assigned to different types of questions are as follows:
Question Type

The total marks allotted to this paper is 70.
Study all the definitions and derivations and memorize all the formula and you are guaranteed with approximately 38 marks.
If you are good with the concepts, then the numerical and application of laws/ principles can give you approximately 22 marks.
If you have covered all the topics in the syllabus and memorized all the terms and points, then approximately another 10 marks is on your side.
Unit-wise distribution of marks:
Units

So, cheer up and go through the following points to boost your confidence and score great marks in this subject.
1. Make a chapter-wise list of all the concepts and the laws you have learned throughout the year.
2. Make a chapter-wise list of all the important SI units, formulae and constants you have learned throughout the year.
3. Always go for mathematical expressions and technical terms while answering the questions.
4. Wherever possible give labeled diagrams to reduce the number of words in your answers.
5. Whenever you draw a circuit, be careful with the direction of current and polarity of cells. In case of ray diagrams don’t forget to give the direction of the rays and the label correctly.
6. Follow standard books for derivations. Do not try to invent new ways for any derivation in the examination hall.
7. Always give step-wise solution to numerical because marks are allotted to each of the steps.
8. Always be specific with your answers. Neither write too much nor too less.
9. Make your preparation syllabus-oriented. For last moment preparations, do not think about learning something out of syllabus or new concept.
10. Solve at least 5 previous years’ board papers without choice. This will help you evaluate where you stand and also give you some idea about what to expect.
here are the books you need to crack physics xii paper:
  1. NCERT book: you can easily get this book in market
  2. any rereference book such as pradeep's. to buy online click here
  3. any book which has atleast last 5 year papers such as exam idea, together with.
to buy together with click here
for buying exam idea search below:

I recommend you that firstly go through NCERT study material then you should practice back exercise question and examples after that read the reference book for deeper understanding and at last go through previous year questions. After covering whole syllabus practice last 5 or 10 year papers. Then you can score easily 95+ in physics paper.

ALL THE BEST

  INTRODUCTION: NEED TO CHANGE PATTERN

From 2013 there will be a lot of emphasis on class XII board exam result that is if you work hard in XII class you will get reward of that in your competitive exams. After a lot of discussions held in 2012 HRD department minister Mr. Kapil Sibbal jointly with IIT's  director decided to conduct only one test of engineering as multiple exams cause fear among students and they had to pay separate money for separate test.

The new Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) has been formally accepted by the IITs and different state boards for giving admission to undergraduate programmes in Engineering/Technical programmes. According to the official statement of CBSE, the JEE(Main) exam will replace the AIEEE exam and JEE(Advanced) will replace the IIT-JEE from next academic session.

THE NEW JEE PATTERN HIGHLIGHTS

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE-2013) will be conducted in two parts: JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced. According to the new pattern, only top 150,000 who qualify the exam will be eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced.
Admission to prestigious IITs will be done on the basis of category-wise All India Rank (AIR) in Advanced exam and top 20 percentile categories of such candidates in CBSEexam. However, admission to NITs and IIITs will be given on the basis of performance in Class XII board exam with 40% weightage and remaining 60% weightage will be given to performance in the JEE Main.

Eligibility for JEE-Main 2013

Those who want to appear in JEE (Main) 2013 must have passed Class XII examination or its equivalent qualifying examination from a recognised board or university. UTILIZE FIRST FOUR MONTHS IN CLASS XI TO CRACK ENTRANCE EXAM

Today I am going to tell you how you can manage time in class XI so you can beat those exam blues. If one considers the amount of time a student spends in school, on an average a student has to spend about 7-8 hours in school everyday. In a year, a student will have to go to school for around 175 to 210 days, which leaves about 110 to 145 full days available for self study, in addition to the 75 days of holidays (including summer vacations, winter vacations and other holidays).

From the above calculation, you can see that there is enough time available at home to study for your entrance exams. However, students generally tend to take the 1st 4 months after Class X exams very easy, and lose out on the time available during the summer vacations for starting their entrance preparation. Not only students, but schools also go easy on their curriculum during this time. They start picking up momentum only after 15th of July, which is too late.

By July end, the half yearly exams are just around the corner and the prescribed syllabus is completed in a hurry. The results are inevitably unsatisfactory and it is this time when most students get panicked and lose confidence.

So, in short if you are serious about cracking the entrances, it is important that you prepare your annual study plan right in the beginning of Class XI in April. This will give you a headstart over everyone else. Also, remember that you will get 50% more time for preparing for entrance exams if you utilize the summer vacations for coverage of your course.
Cheers!

PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS CLASS XII TIPS

GETTING GOOD MARKS IN PHYSICS&MATHS IN XII BOARD CLASS

12th board exam is the most important stage in the academic life of any student in India. Good score in this exam in many cases ensures admission in good course or college. There is an element of prestige attached to it too : any student getting 90%+ marks in 12th board automatically becomes the darling of his/her entire family - all of a sudden people start speaking good and respectful words for him.
According to the proposed new Government Policy regarding the admissions in various Engineering Colleges in India, including IITs, marks earned by a student in his/her 12th board exams will be going to become very important for his/her admission in Engineering Courses in India from session 2012-13. According to the news paper reports, board marks will be given very important weightage in deciding the eligibility of a student in the Engineering Admission Process. A student scoring low marks in board exam will be not eligible for IITs even if he/she performs well in the entrance test.
So my message to all is: DON'T IGNORE THE BOARD EXAMS NOW
My experience says that getting very high marks in board exams in India (at-least in CBSE board exam!) is honestly not very tough these days.
Following are few of the general advice's that I would like to give to any one desirous of getting good marks in Physics and Maths in CBSE board exams:
Give utmost importance to your NCERT books. In maths exam, usually nothings comes from outside NCERT book. So for your board exam preparation do not consult any reference book. Just solve all the SOLVED and EXERCISE problems of NCERT again and again for practice.Remember that you do not have to leave any thing inside the NCERT maths book. Solve every single problem - both solved examples and exercise problems - present inside NCERT books. Solve all the Miscellaneous solved and unsolved questions too. Solve the Sample Papers available on CBSE website. If you gain the capability of solving any problem contained in the NCERT book without any trouble then I assure you that you can even get 100 marks in Maths.
For Physics, again NCERT book is very important.
*Read all concepts of every chapter in full detail from NCERT.
*Make a list of all the DERIVATIONS in each chapter.
*Write the proofs of these DERIVATIONS in your note book. While writing the proofs follow the style in which you normally answer a question in exam.
*Make a comprehensive list of all the important formulae of the syllabus. Revise them regularly.
*Do all the NUMERICAL type questions present in NCERT physics book (both solved and unsolved ! ).
*Make a list of important graphs present in your text book.
*You must know all the Definitions and S.I. units of all the physical quantities dealt in the syllabus.
*If possible, practice 'previous year questions' from each chapter from the book "Together with Physics" or "U-Like Sample Paper in Physics"
*Solve the Sample Paper available on CBSE website.
*Do the revision of all the above works again and again. You will then be able to solve the entire PHYSICS paper without any problem and getting 65+ (out of 70) score will not be difficult for you in Physics
